During the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority’s (KEDFA) regular monthly board meeting, held on Thursday, January 30th, a project in the Greater Louisville region received preliminary approval for funding:
Fabricated Metals, LLC
- Project Overview: Fabricated Metals, LLC is a manufacturer of industrial storage products, outdoor lighting accessories, and railroad signal control products. The company is looking to expand their current manufacturing facility. Fabricated Metals was preliminarily approved for $635,000.00 in tax incentives through the Kentucky Business Investment (KBI) program.
Additionally, the company is looking to relocate and expand their headquarters operation to downtown Louisville. Fabricated Metals was preliminarily approved for $600,000.00 in tax incentives through the KBI program.
- Investment: $25.2 million to expand their existing operations and $4.3 million to locate in a new facility.
- Location: Louisville, KY
- Job Creation: 34 jobs at their existing facility with an average hourly wage of $34.99 per hour, including employee benefits, and 22 jobs at their new headquarters with an average hourly wage of $64.51 per hour, including employee benefits.
